50 Cent has historically used social media to troll Mayweather amid their well-documented rivalry
Rapper 50 Cent has responded to recent legal developments involving Floyd Mayweather, including a court-ordered child support ruling and a separate $175 million fraud lawsuit involving the boxing star.
Mayweather is currently facing multiple legal issues after a court ordered him to pay $1 million in child support following a paternity ruling. He has also filed a lawsuit alleging that a business associate defrauded him of $175 million.
Given their long-standing public feud, fans expected 50 Cent to mock the situation. However, the rapper appeared to take a more measured tone in Instagram posts that referenced the developments.
“Congratulations champ Beautiful baby girl, f**k the other bulls**t,” 50 Cent wrote in response to the paternity news. In another post referencing the alleged fraud case, he added, “Hey champ call my phone, we will get that back right quick ! It’s a good thing you bought all them buildings in NY,”
The remarks surprised some observers, as 50 Cent has historically used social media to troll Mayweather amid their well-documented rivalry. The pair were once close business associates and collaborated on plans for a boxing promotion venture before their relationship deteriorated.
Their fallout reportedly stemmed from financial disagreements connected to the failed partnership, after which 50 Cent publicly distanced himself and frequently criticised the boxer online.
Despite their history of conflict, the latest comments have sparked speculation that 50 Cent’s tone may be shifting, although it remains unclear whether the posts were genuine support or sarcasm.
